The Landfill Communities Fund and Scottish Landfill Communities Fund have a strong focus on the populations of people that live in the vicinity of landfill sites.
When preparing your community or heritage application to Valencia Communities Fund, it is important that you are able to demonstrate and provide evidence of community support for your project. There are a number of ways that this can be done:
- Letters of support from user groups and individuals
- Petitions of support
- Community surveys
You may also ask local councillors and MPs to support your project. However, Valencia Communities Fund prefers to see support from the people who directly benefit from your project.
Your application will be scored on how many letters of support you are able to provide, so please send as many as possible with your application. We would expect to see at least ten letters of support from members of your community or community organisations.
It is possible to scan multiple letters of support into a single .pdf file for attachment when completing your stage two application.
