Served as Lord-Lieutenant for Bristol from 2007 to 2017
Appointed CVO in the New Year’s Honours List 2017. Awarded the MBE in 1996 for services to Bristol Cathedral Trust.
Her business career was primarily as Sales and Marketing Director of Alexandra plc.
She was awarded Honorary Doctorates by both the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.

She served as President of the Royal Bath and West Agricultural Society 2017/18 and until recently ran a beef farm in partnership with her husband; the land is now let to other farmers.
